Meet The Chef
Lonnie Allen is the Executive Chef and Owner of FloodGates Catering & Food Services. His culinary roots began as a child when he worked in his grandparent’s local restaurant. This was the beginning of a life-long fascination with the Art of Culinary.
In his adulthood he has held positions such as sous chef at the Marriott of Charlotte, sous chef at Chateau (four star French cuisine) and served as the Food Service Director and Executive Chef at First Baptist Church of Charlotte for 18 years.
FloodGates Catering & Food Services is located in Charlotte, NC. We offer warm and gracious Southern and International cuisine hospitality with elegance. We have catered for numerous public figures, events, weddings, and special request.
